Work experience
2021-Present
CLUB MARKETING COORDINATOR - RELENTLESS BEATS
Following the restructure of Relentless Beats, I was brought in to manage club marketing across seven markets. On average, we have 14 club shows per week debuting in 250-2500 cap rooms. I am responsible for coordinating art and announcement plans, building and tracking budgets, and managing our social media coordinator who executes posts across 5+ brand accounts. While outside of my role description, I assist on building ticket links. When onsite of our festivals and special events, I handle all social media stories enhancing fan experiences, artist sets, and sponsorships. A big milestone for me was leading marketing for DUSK Music Festival in 2022.
2019-2021
Junior Publicist - Caren West PR
I crafted press releases for over 100 Relentless Beats debuts, two years of Imagine Music Festival, and one year of Seismic Dance Event. Through CWPR, I created unbreakable rapport with top-tier and middle-tier outlets that became vital relationships for our biggest client Relentless Beats for events such as Phoenix Lights, CRUSH, Goldrush Music Festival, Decadence, and more. While onsite of our client's events, I was responsible for managing the media pit, as well as artist-outlet interviews. One of my proudest moments was leading PR for Relentless Beats' groundbreaking pod series following COVID-19. I also took the opportunity to grow CWPR's social presence by beginning their Instagram Takeover series. Another notable project was making BIJOU's 'Street Knowledge' press release.
2020 - 2021
A&R - Sound Remedy LLC
This role required exceptional interpersonal skills and organization as my daily responsibilities included outreach to a number of producers and vocalists. I knew this would be a great opportunity to build a basic foundation in artist development as the Sound Remedy project originally retired in 2016 and this was considered a 'comeback' period. By the end, Sound Remedy was collecting over 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
2016 - 2021
Leading Journalist - ThatDrop
I have written over 150 articles covering previews and reviews on leading festivals including Life Is Beautiful, Imagine Music Festival, and Lollapalooza. I've coordinated and published over 30 exclusive interviews with over five of them being GRAMMY-nominated artists including Morgan Page, Adventure Club, Mikky Ekko, Sofi Tukker, and Alan Walker.
2015-2017
JOURNALIST - PRIME SOCIAL GROUP
I conceptualized the official PSG blog 'The Life Backstage' where I covered event and artist content. Through the blog, I fashioned events including the country's largest collegiate music festival, Number's Fest, and one of the fastest growing multi-city music festival, Breakaway Music Festival.
Education
2016-2019
University of Arizona
I graduated one semester early with a BA in Communication and minor in Marketing. My cum GPA was a 3.3. Today, my biggest academic accomplishments include making Dean's List for three consecutive semesters, Academic Distinction, and walking with honors.
Interests
Well... if you really want to know! I love dogs, ketchup over mustard, and Will Ferrell over anyone. My roots are secured in classic rock; my heart is obsessed with English artists like Elton John and Queen, but something about the line "Slow down, you're doing fine", sung by the very own Billy Joel really hits me. Growing up, I have been intrigued with dance music and pop-crossovers. One day, I hope to shift and expand my career into the world of Marketing, Public Relations, or Artist Hospitality.
